Our company offers online training/education, and we private label our online courses for colleges. We like some of Moodle's features, but feel drupal is better for handling multiple, different instances of that draw from a single, broad database. We would like several separate logins that display unique information, so sutdents from different schools see different info. Plus, we'd like to internally interface with the database info for reports, etc.
Can some of Moodle's "coolest" learning features be easily integrated into Drupal or would it require starting from scratch?
I've been researching this for nearly a week, and all the options out there are very overwhelming. I've tried so many demos and read so many forum posts... everything is bleeding together. I've heard RAVING reviews about Drupal, so i'm hoping someone here can give me some good news.
We're thinking about moving our site from MT3 to Drupal. There are two issues we are most worried about.
1) Importing the content from MT to Drupal. How difficult is this? Are there automated soltuions? How long should it take if we have several thousand entries?
2) Comments on the main entries... We really want something exactly like Slashdot style moderation. Is there a way to implement this in Drupal (a link to a good how to would be nice).
Hi there, I am planning to build a website for my girlfriend - for her 21st birthday.
On there I need a fairly customised 'look and feel' - to make it personal
A gallery she can display all of her paintings, drawings etc.
A blog she can errr.. blog on
A couple of 'About me pages' she can use to talk about herslef.
I was going to build this using standard HTML / CSS / PHP but having had open source 'sold' to me by these - www.openadvantage.org - guys I think I'll give Drupal a go.
