Before you start

We have a strong subsystem which is exposed as REST based services. Does Drupal have a capability to consume already developed REST services responses as template while authoring a web content, while executing the REST call and replacing the appropriate place holders after publishing ?

What are the modules I would require to develop the same?

Hi, ive been looking around and cant quite find what i need to fix my problem.

I'd like to use commerce for items for sale within my company. I can set up products ok but cant find a module to easily do what im after.

I sell signs, ive set up the product as a supply price. I need to have a few check boxes to include items such as...
Installation
Council application
illuminated
Non illuminated etc....

Iver looked at modules such as customizable products using line items, but it seems this would be a one off price set as taxonomy terms.

my current website is based on wordpress and I am constantly getting virus alerts. Wordpress is pretty much locked down, using various methods, i.e. leveraging .htaccess and read-only functionality on some folders.

Needless to say, I am tired and want to move to drupal. before I jump in, for those who have made this migration, how has your experience been when it comes to virus issues and false-positives?

Looking for a Distribution of Drupal 7 with CRM and CMS integration for an organisation to get to know our members better and make it possible to create all of our products together online in one place. I would prefer if the CRM and CMS solutions are open source free modules. Today we run our page on Drupal www.itheo.org and are happy with the platform but need to take it to the next level.

Is there a Distribution for this that we can build on or does one have to have a developer building it 'again' from scratch?

I am new to drupal and want to figure out whether drupal is the best solution for me. I want to build up a video sharing site like youtube that allow user to upload and share video. The site should also can transcode the video to mp4. I hope it also can support work flow. I try out some video sharing script, but they do not really suitable for me.
