I want to know if Drupal can be used to syncronize an oline store inventory with a local database, so either the purchase was made on the online store or the physicalone the inventory gets actualized.
I already have an existing site, but I want to transfer them all to drupal (the site is html and I want to transfer its contents to drupal), is this possible without having a downtime, and how do I proceed with it, cause now, my site is sitting in the domain spot which I want the drupal site to be in...
I've been trying to create a bilingual site that has different content but share the same users. the site would look something like this: www.site.com/en www.site.com/es
as I said both would have different content but I need to share the same account information. Maybe, if possible share the same forum. Is this even possible?
I will be attempting the above at some point and would like to get some input from some of the more experienced people here about what they think is the best way of going about the above? While installing drupal on a domain and having users authenticate against it in drupal seems doable, what would be the best way of bringing it to the desktop, have it properly refreshed, unable to be turned off, etc. I will have full Enterprise Admin rights, so doing this via Group Policy is one option. Any other ideas? Google desktop widget?
