Installing View Module (views-5.x-1.x-dev.tar.gz)

Unarchiving will give me a folder View with couple of files and 2 subfolders (modules and po).

Pls someone tell me how am I suppose to install the views - every time I have tried so far, I got errors or warnings. Pls don't ask me about error text, just tell me after unarchiving what am I suppose to do?

This is what I did: copy the whole folder 'views' under my_drupal_site/modules folder.
And for some reason it proved to be wrong, did I miss anything ?

Hi, I considered changing to Drupal, but I'd like to keep some sections for my current website. Will it be possible for Drupal to work well together with PHPBB and MYSQL? I wouldn't change the forum to Drupal yet, it's a lot of wasted work

i want to use Drupal for a company project. But now im facing the challenge to convince my project manager to use Drupal instead of ZenCart and that is not so easy... ;)

Is there any resource available where the advantages of Drupal are outlined over another tool like ZenCart? or what are u thinking why it is better...?

I have to use one of these two to design a webshop for electronic items.

I have Drupal hosted on hosting service 1 (let us say:it is mediatemple) and phpBB(fresh installation) hosted at hosting Service 2 (say dreamhost) - now my problem is that I need to allow/share drupal and phpBB users to post on each other when registered with either drupal or phpBB.

In essence - I need to share the users database between two different apps (drupal and phpBB) - when each hosted at different servers.

Is this possible? if so pls provide some insights/related references.
