eCommerce Newbie: How to configure eCommerce for pre-paid services?

I'm just starting to poke around with the eCommerce module and I'm not sure how to best configure it for my needs. Here's what I want to have done:

I'm putting together an online photo processing service for sorting/scrubbing/cropping/layout of digital photos. Here is an example of what I'd like to offer both pre-paid and post-paid services.

- Pre-paid: pay $10 for 1000 photos, 1 cent a photo for processing raw photos.
- Post-paid: we process your photos first and you pay 5 cents for every finished photo you download/purchase from us.

I looked at non-shippable product, but it's not clear how to best configure it for a $10 prepay. Is that the price and I just write a customization somewhere to keep track of what was spent based on photos processed?

I also looked at "file-download product", but it is designed to attach a price for each file on the system. Do I have to create a product for each image -- will I have 1000s products in the system for a given user and have a method for selecting a whole folder of photos to add to the shoopping cart? That doesn't sound like what the developers of the module meant -- for one thing, the cart may not be big enough to list individual files.

Also, looked at the recurring product is based on expiration by time, not by units consumed.

PHPTemplate

I have been looking and haven't been able to find where to download PHPTemplate for 5.X. Is there such thing, or is it part of the release itself? Thanks!

CAn I run Drupal Using IIS?

Greetings all,
I was wondering can I run Drupal using IIS? I want to use my pc as a personal web server and I want to install Drupal so that 4 people in my Dept can use it. It is solely for intranet use, not internet.

I read that during installation I need to transfer sql files from the drupal download.

Can anyone help me with this pleese?!

4.7 or 5.1 for learning via Mercer book?

I'm learning about Drupal via the Mercer book, and already hit an installation problem because I downloaded 5.1 rather than the 4.7.n that the book relates to. I've now got 5.1 working, but am I likely to hit other significant inconsistencies? And if I start again, with 4.7, will it be easy to upgrade later? Will I be losing much functionality by downgrading?

Thanks in anticipation.

Dave.
