Before you start

Hi, ive installed the web links module which is fine however there doesnt seem to be a way of adding links to it though? I checked permissions and categories but when i go to the page there is no way of adding a link?

Is it possible that while the user registers, he gets different options
like supposedly:
If he wants to join as a user/band or event orgraniser so accordingly each the user accordingly has different behaviours and options. Is this possible?

I'm using 4.7.x, one of my sites main content is photos. Several members complain about the image gallery not having a next / previous button below images.

I know in the hand book you can find code snippets / patches to do this, but, can you use the slide show module for this function?

Also, could the photo bar module be used with past and future image galleries to show next 4 images below as well?

users who have experience with these two modules would save me a lot of time.

I'm a newbie of Drupal. Before, I've used Joomla & I think it's very good. But I'm recommended that Drupal is better. I've download the it's latest version. Could you please show me any document step by step how to install Drupal and it's features?

Hi, I was provided with a Drupal set of files to install on a website but I'm not sure which version of Drupal the files are from. If you are just simply looking at the drupal file folders (not installed on a website yet) how does one determine which version of drupal the files are from?

I'm looking through all the admin modules.... 115 of them... and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by all the options! So, I'm hoping the more experienced members will be kind enough to make some recommendations on the "must have" administrative modules.

SO, as an Admin of a Drupal site... what 2...3... 4... 5... or however many you'd like to suggest... Administrative modules would you NOT go without??
