I need help To know how to start the drupal Working i need it as soon as possible plz any one can tell me how can i start it or the steps in details am new to everything here >>>> H E L P

Ok i want to make this kind of site. One person uploads a video file and then the out put for guests would look like this

Header with navigation
Latest Video's (Title possibly Graphic)
-a few video's that show up with a thumbnail and regular video info
- on click it goes to the video page (comment section? rating system? editable graphics for the player ui)

Ive had a quick check around drupal.org, but cant find what im lookin for.. I currently use .php redirects in seperate folders for my affiliate links.

e.g. i create a folder /aff/ in that folder i create seperate files for each of my affiliate links. with a php redirect in them..

Then throughout my site instead of using my "affiliate link i get from the affiliate company", i use the link to my redirected link:

e.g: [a href ="../aff/my-affiliate-link1.php">affiliate link 1

Hello, I'm considering using drupal to post news for a selected group and I want to:

1) have a daily poll/survey which saves answers to a database and
2) have a daily feature (i.e. This Day in History) that hauls selected info from a database based on that day's date and
3) be able to upload photos easily.

Based on each of these questions, is drupal for me?

I'm planning to build a website where, people around the world can register, create a profile and share it with the other users. There should be the possibility to search and sort the way the users are presented on the map according to their location. Also, another challenge would be to have another set of addresses that are representative for the user and that are being displayed when the certain user is on focus.
