Hi
I am looking to setup a new community based site providing community news, blog & forum functionality. I am happy with everything else apart from forum bit and i have a question regarding it. At the moment when you submit a topic to a forum, You have to select from a drop down list as to which forum do you want to post this topic to. I personally think that some of the older member of the community and less computer savy users will select a wrong forum while submitting a topic and this will result in lot of admin work for me.
The company I work for publishes print guides for various demographics. We have websites for each of these publications. The cost of the guides is covered by clients who choose to advertise in an appropriate guide, and one of the draws is exposure on our website (a short listing with contact information and a longer profile), categorized by the porducts/services they provide.
We also publish articles from the print guides on the associated website.
Currently we're updating these sites manually (97% static HTML), which is a real pain.
Im curious if its possible to put the different levels of navigation within different block regions. For instance, if you add a child to a parent nav item, it puts it as an li within that li. I have 3 levels of navigation. The secondary sits in a div right under the primary, but my 3rd level will be in another div off in my right hand column. Just curious if anyone has modified this setup in anyway? or maybe there is a module out there.
I'm just getting started with Drupal and was hoping you guys can lead me in the right direction for the project I'm starting...
I'm setting up a site, like a travel site for a specific location. I would like certain features within the site:
1) I want my members to be able to post their photos of this location, and be able to share those photos with other users. The ability to comments and rate photos would be nice too. Which photo modules should I look into for this kind of functionality?
