What commerce module should I use?

Basically I own an IT company. I would like my customers to be able to setup an account on my website and be able to pay for the work my technicians have completed. What would be the best commerce module to accomplish this. Say a technician completed a job and the cost is $300.00 I would like to log in my site and charge there account $300. They can log in and pay. Then the system should send out a invoice to their email. If they haven't paid in a certain amount of time it should let us know and also send out another invoice.

Which, if any, pre-configured Drupal distro a multi-user community site?

Firstly - there's a Drupal 8? Posting this gave it as an option. Downloading did not.

I am experienced PHP programmer & total Drupal n00b.

Question: there seem to be pre-configured Drupal distros available. Are these a good idea or not, wrt upgrading? Or does it depend on the distro?

Best module for cart

I have a client that wants to move off of osCommerce and I would like to use Drupal for this project.

Can anybody recommend what module for cart functionality would be the best fit? The current site has about 10K products with variants and uses UPS, USPS and FedEx for real time shipping with PayPal pro integration for payments.

Online services Site

Guys,
My aplogies if I'm repeating anything that someone asked before, but I searched for the answer to my question and was not successful.

I want to set up a site where ppl would pay for various services (e.g. developing software etc...)

Is there any module that would address this. For instance a customer requests a service done, and then right on the site they can go and keep in communication with the service provider until the service is completed after which payment is made..

Can anyone help with this

Google indexing

Email Field or text html field which changes to clickable link anyways in D7

Looking for guidance on if I should us the module "Email Field CCK Module" or use default text field which changes txt to clickable link if html is selected in Drupal 7. I was trying to do some importing using feeds and it didn't recognize the field as an option to import to when using Email field, but that was not critical anyways. Any thoughts on which one is the best way to go about it as well as related future drupal upgrades and capability?
