Although Drupal is much more powerful, it seems Wordpress is in more demand (by far). This is evident in the number of WP jobs vs Drupal ones on Elance, and also in themes market places where WP seems to be the preferred platform.
A Drupal theme in a themes marketplace would require a far-more extensive documentation, and its User Interface is far less friendly.
Do you think this makes Drupal less marketable?
Is anyone successful in selling their Drupal themes in a themes marketplace (like envato, or monster template)?
I am putting together a presentation for some executives in my company on Drupal. Hopefully I can talk them into committing some development work to the community. I am looking for a Drupal logo (preferably the new one on their site) that is in vector graphics and won't distort if I increase the size. Help?
I would like to get an online magazine started and I think Drupal would be a great format for this application. I would like to have some rotating ads as I will have some sponsors and they will want to have ads with a link back to them. Is this something that you all think would be a really viable solution for this kind of site?
An honest reader in South Korea offered to make payment for a technical web development book he downloaded. He is the first person in over ten years of publishing that has ever offered to pay. I was so thrilled, as the author of said book, that immediately replied and offered to donate that money to a local charity in his name...
This is what I need. I request advice on if drupal can be configured to do this.
- User logs in
- Gets a page, with some drop downs and some text fields.
* Enter your name :
* Select your designation
* Input path of your photo
- Hits submit
- A html page gets created for this user based on a template that I have specified earlier. That template may be a html file, with some css.
