I don´t want to generate a discussion between drupal forum system against vbulletin. The truth is that I run a Drupal community with a vBulletin forum for a while yet, and It would be great if I can merge the two login systems into one.
I can offer 100$ for anyone interested in developing this module, and because I´m sure that I´m not the only one interested in this feature, I encourage some other people to join and making this a good opportunity for both developers and users.
Not sure where to post this one. Apparently in a site we have developed for a customer, someone attempted to backup the site improperly. Having completed only a partial backup, he then attempted to back up the MySql database directly, and then at the same time tried to login multiple times into the CMS.
At least that is the story we are getting. Also, it is quite likely that other administrators were attempting to update the site as this person did not notify any other users that he was backing up the site. BAD IDEA I know.
Hello, i'm creating a sitemap.xml file for my site. I don't want to write in these file all the pages of my site, so, will then ALL my pages be indexed by googlebot?
We are thinking about setting up a Drupal Website. Our needs are, however, very specific. We will have multiple users (separate from the site administrator) who will need multiple levels of access. These users will not be technologically savvy - most will use their access to update personal profiles, some will be able to update news items or events. We envision having an easy backend interface for these users (an editing tool). Are these available in Drupal? What do backend screens look like? How easy will it be to install multiple levels of access?
