I'm aware that a ligthweigth version of CCK made it in core. Now there's a pletora of modules
depending on the full CCK infrastructure that have to be ported to 5.0.
What needs to be done (added to core ?) to port this modules modules to 5.0 ?
Will I need full CCK to use these modules in 5.0 ?
Is there some work going on (link ?) to write other patches for core (for 5.1) or to write a module
to complement the light-CCK in core at the moment for 5.0 ?
I am putting together a web site for restaurant reviews. These reviews will be based on the 5 star system (go figure) and location. Now I have used drupal and have some experience with it (developed simple modules). What exisiting modules can I use to get this done, I am not looking to redevelop the wheel here? I would also like to have the ability to allow registered users leave their own reviews and comments about restaurants. I have done some searching on this web site about the best path to go, and the book module was suggested, is this the best way to go?
Hi everybody,
I got my guestbook running. The only problem I have is, that if you are an anonymous user and you write into our guestbook, the message is not shown until you write another message...even if you hit F5 to refresh the page, the entry is not shown...why is that? And how can I solve this problem?
During updating a site to Drupal 4.7.3, I had problems with the views module: it failed to update correctly, for some undiscovered reason.
I ended up removing the module in order to reinstall it, including removing the database tables. But it did not install correctly, that is, the database tables was not created.
