I need to be able to restrict access to forum topics by roles. The forum+forum_access doesn't look to work well with cathegory+cac_lite modules, so I would like to try the UIEForum. Unfortunately it looks the UIEForum is not compatible with Drupal 4.7 version.

Is there some possibility to use the UIEForum under this Drupa version? Have you some easy trick how to "upgrade" the module to work?

I have tested the version available on the Download/Modules Drupal site and also the beta8 version of the UIEForum downloaded directly from UIEForum vendor's site.

I am using the category module in order to categorise content nodes... but what I want to do is have a summary of the categorisation on the frontpage... how will I do this and what (if any) modules do I need for this ?

Hi all,

1. Is there any means by which the members of the site can post forum topics through their email? Similar to yahoo groups?
I mean most of the people may not get time to come to website, login and post/read the topic. Instead they would be happy to recieve the daily digest or something like that in their inbox or send email to post a forum topic.

2. If someone posts some topic by mistake in wrong forum. How can I move that forum topic to the right forum?
