Should I use the category module for a content / article site or just go with taxonomy ?

I need to make a an article site ... regarding SEO I have to have the best option. Anyone know if I should go for the category or the taxonomy module ? Sitemenu though seems to work only with taxonomy and not with category ... is this correct ?

Page Displayed When Database Down

Just got this message: Unable to connect to database server...The MySQL error was: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2).

It's a genuine error -- the database server is down. Is it possible to redirect users to a more "friendly" page when this occurs?

sitemenu module does not work ?

I've read that the sitemenu module can be used in order to make a summary of all content nodes and display them in a summed up manner ... So I've downloaded this module and installed it ... No errors, but when I click the sitemenu link... it doesn't display anytjhing except the start en end texts wich you can specifiy in the settings ....

Anyone know what is wrong ?

Album Artwork DB?

Hey all! I am currently setting up a CD review website, where users submit their own reviews, I am using Drupal and I need some help. Is there any way I can have the reviews automatically find an album front cover to display on the review page?

Users will obviusly be submitting the album and artist name in a form so I'm guessing I can pick the information up from that, but I don't know where I could look for the artwork... can anyone offer up any advice on this?

Thanks.

Auto-enable links in posts and comments

Is it somehow possible to automatically enable links in posts and comments so that people can click at them right away?

at the moment, if you post a link in my drupal system, it shows as plain text (no hyperlink). only if you actually ad some basic HTML code it makes a link out of it. is there a way to automatically make it an href-hyperlink when someone enters text beginning with http:// or www?

thanx
