Is there a module that allows the user to choose wether or not to show their avatar? The global setting is too global. Some may want a pic on their profile but not have it splashed all over the frontpage.

It is very difficult to me understand where and what I need to do to print a field from CCK module.
I know how can I create new pages to specific nodes etc..
I read all about regions (I have my owns), styles, blocks, nodes etc..
I am using my localhost to test drupal before publish
Now I understand CSS Themes and I am creating my own.
But How can add "field 3" from "content type 5" into a cell (Box,block...) for example in page.tpl.php?

Is it possible to theme the output of pdfview? At the moment this module is only placing the text in a standard font in a pdf file and is placing the author on it (which I dont want and is also not visible on the website itself)

So basically two questions:
1. is it possible to theme the output of pdfview?
2. How can you get rid of the author in the pdfview output?

Drupal 4.7 , modules: image , image galeries , image_attach , image_pub, img_assist

I can see images as tumbnails in the image galery listing, I can see images when included in stories with tinymce, any size, all works fine.

But when I go to view image node directly, nothing is displaying, there is a link to select size of the displayed image (tumbnail, preview etc..), there is the title of the image, submited by, date, category, but the rest of page is blank, no actual image. Same behaviour when I go to image trough image galeries, or content.

I was hoping I'd be able to get some suggestions for a module or strategy for displaying a Latest News Article block (top 5 articles posted), as well as an archive page for all news articles posted date reverse ordered?
