Hi there,

I am on the lookout for a sports managment module for Drupal 7

It basically needs to be able to do the following:

• - create one or more leagues
• - add teams to the league(s)
• - add games to the league(s)
• - display standing, scores, etc,..

I found a couple of modules I could use but all of these are drupal 6.

Apologies for this being in the general section, I got a little bit frustrated by trying to find an appropriate place.

Basically, I would like to write documentation for a module. Only thing is, however much it's something I and others would benefit from and encourage the community to do...it's so hard to find out how!!!

I've gone around in circles and I think this is my last try. Basically, I'd like to write a module handbook for Entity Reference field and other required modules.

Aside: Just an idea, on Drupal.org Module home pages, it would be fantastic to have an "Write documentation" link on there somewhere! Makes life so much easier. (And there's a perfect example, if I wanted to post that exact feature request, where would I post it on here?). Sometimes, drupal.org isn't the easiest place to navigate and I can understand the frustrations of new user and why they would struggle.

I've felt strongly about this for a while now, and I'd like to help get on board to make Drupal.org more user friendly.

Please don't take this as a slight at anyone who has contributed here, your efforts have helped me countless times and for that I'm forever grateful and in your debt. We all get warned about best practice etc, but sometimes, finding the right way to do something isn't possible.

I am beginner for drupal but I have fair amount of knowledge of PhP and javascript and other web technologies. I have been searching through drupal but could not find a proper beginner way to get involved in the project. How should i get involved like coding something straight away?

I'm newbie in drupal. I try search what kind CMS that drupal can do. I can see that drupal can do more than joomla.
I'm try to search whether drupal has document manager as Alfresco but i can't find it.

Is there any embedded module in drupal for document management system as like Alfresco?
If no, how i can build document management system in drupal?

Given the Steep Learning Curve for Drupal, the quantity of people that try to accomplish the same task and go about it differently...

Why isn't there a drupal certification, a minimum standard that people need to pass to proof out their skills?

I compiled a list of Drupal themes in use by websites in the top 1 million websites.

It is interesting to compare this sort of production site analysis with the number of downloaded themes (sorted by popularity). The themes with the high download count are not always the most popular on the higher traffic production servers.
