We are renewing our website and serach will be one important part in it. Now I would like to ask, if anyone has seen any really good search user interfaces. Not just Search box but ability to use keywords, maybe tabs, autocomplete etc.

If you can share some links what to use as benchmark I would really appreciate. I will share here what we have learned when we have something ready.

Here's my situation. I am sort of a non-technical web developer. I have used Drupal for a number of years. But I do not have the technical savvy to develop my own modules (for example). I use what is available.

Now after taking a break from Drupal for a couple years. I NEED to develop several web sites over the next 1 - 3 months. My preference would be to begin IMMEDIATELY. However, I need advice about getting started.

any idea on drupal work with big data?
Data scale will be around 300K orders per day. after one year, there will be arround 100 million orders.
any suggestions on this?

I am considering building a subscription based site in Drupal (v7) and would like to get some expert advice before starting to look into the various available modules to get it done.

The site is for a monthly subscription site where members would pay using paypal in order to access site content (the content type will be videos)

My main doubt is - would I need to set up a full fledged ecommerce site for this, or are there any paypal/subscription modules that will make my life easier?
