I like to give credit where credit is due.
As such I usually leave the Powered by Drupal logo as well as a Zen Cart logo for stores.
I was wondering if this might have some negative consequences letting those with malicious intent know what to look for?
I know about getting the latest updates, but...

I am completely new to drupal. Just installed it on linux mint 13 (drpal7). Can anyone tell me if I am going in the right direction in terms of the capability of drupal? I want a very simple web site so the user can click a button
and call evince mypdf1.pdf and maybe a second button to do evince mypdf2.pdf
AND a way for the user to click on some free software name and download it to their computer from my site.
