Hello good Morning.
I am new at Drupal, I have just one week of experience and I'm building my website.
My question is, you know or recommend a good video tutorial for dummies?
After a few hours, I managed to install Drupal, Bootstrap and module views, but still do not understand concepts that are basic, such as what is the taxonomy ?, and I think it is important to understand the terminology and how the views work, blocks , fields, etc.
I know exists documentation of Drupal, but I find it easier to learn with video tutorials, for me it is more dynamic.

I want to create an education social network (non-traditional). I found elgg better than others, but the question is:

Is Drupal a good choice to create a social network?

any other suggestions?

What is mean by 7.x-1.1. I saw it below a module. Every module has a different number. I know it means version, but what is 1.1 or 1.6 etc etc.

Hi,

When I visit some other websites using my mobile phone, I see a message on the top of screen saying 'get the app in google play...'. which allows me to download their app in my mobile phone.

I am using bootstrap theme. I have 0 experience on developing app. I have no idea where to start. If I want to do the same thing, what do I need to learn? If you can give me some direction for a beginner, it will help.

As any of the forum users here know, our forums suck. They are outdated by at least 10 years, and they are an extremely poor reflection upon Drupal. The Drupal association is not willing to support outside development of the forums beyond saying 'we support you' (without backing that up), and is not willing to update the forums themselves.

After being with Drupal for several years I have had enough. I go to install Drupal 8 and get all of these ridiculous error messages, all 1 at a time. Some B.S. about memory, then pdo, then a bunch of other junk. Every time I fixed a new error another one showed up. When I finally get it all fixed I get some really weird message that makes no sense at all. When I paste this message in Google it has been appearing for years and with previous versions all the way back to 5.
