I would like to hire someone to create a subscription-based site for me and not sure if Drupal is the best platform for what I'm trying to achieve.
Here's what I'm trying to achieve...
I have my main site and users can purchase a monthly subscription and then they would get their own site (with limited functionality and specific feature set), their site would have its own URL and it would be seen as its own site on the web, and by other web services. Meaning it wouldn't be cloaked or appear as part of another site, my main site.
I would like to upload some self-created patches just to test them online at simplytest.me for my personal teaching purposes - testing my new Git and Drupal 8 skills. However, I would not like to spam any valid Drupal issue with my dummy patches.
I don't want to frame this as an either/or discussion. Like some of you I also do Wordpress work and find it to be a good solution for small businesses. However I sometimes buy Wordpress themes in order to have a collection of instant features that I later customize and I've reached a point where I'm annoyed that the marketplace doesn't turn to Drupal for some of those needs.
I am considering starting a business in publishing the documentation of various (online) projects in a printed book form. The Drupal documentation falls into this category.
However, although I have my expectations, I have no real data on the demand for such a product.
Hello, and I think this is the best forum to post this call on.
I have been a long time disaster responder, in particular, working to rescue animals. I started during Katrina, and just recently traveled to Houston (Vidor) to rescue after Harvey, and then assisted remotely in the efforts for Irma.
I want to build a personal financial management tool for multiple users. Something like Mint, Quicken, or YNAB (You Need A Budget). Has anybody seen anything like this? Or can anybody recommend modules or distributions as a starting point?
