I'm trying to compile an accessible checklist for theming during website development. It may seem silly to senior developers, but as a junior I still don't have enough experience to know all the things that I should look out for by hard.
I have searched for decent checklists but couldn't find any good ones. So that's why I'm writing this topic.
Perhaps it's time for StackOverflow to be a bit more open-minded to questions seeking recommendations. What's wrong with programmers seeking recommendations from (more experienced and/or smarter) programmers? The only issues are whether the question is specific enough and whether the person has done work or not. In this case, I would ask the person to edit his/her question, just an opinion
Hello
I have a site with two types of content:
- Installation
- Microsite, with a field "Type of Microsite == 'Installation' of type textfield"
The two types of content have a reference field to 'Sport' taxonomy.
I need to make an views to show the nodes of type 'Installation' and those of type 'Microsite' with the field 'Type of Microsite' with value 'Installation'
When I do the view I create the fields for the filters and I organize them in groups with OR condition and the result of the query is the correct one.
I'll start with a story. Back in the old days, in small villages, when a young couple would marry, all the people in that village would assist to build the house for the couple, and everything was done quickly. Then, when another couple would marry, everyone went and helped them, and so on, like -in turns. That's the story. But when the winter came, everything was nice and cosy.
I have been having lots of trouble using drupal.org, in particular in attempting to make edits to documentation. In general in Firefox 57, the Save and Preview buttons don't seem to link to anything, and just don't do anything when I've finished editing, In general in Chrome I get a "The site can't be reached. The connection was reset." page and when I go back, it goes back to my home page, not the page I was on, so my content is lost.
Where is the right place to report these issues?
(p.s. It took me about 8 attempts between both browsers to even post this)
