Hi I am looking for a Drupal Software Developer
Hinckley, Leicestershire. LE10 1YG
£35,000-£40,000 (+ benefits)
We are looking for a Drupal Software Developer to join one of our Agile SCRUM teams to be responsible for the designing, developing and supporting customer facing and back office software solutions within the IT department. To apply for this role you should have experience in developing web solutions in Drupal (7.x & 8.x) and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment
I am working in an IP test lab. I am doing some testing with some equipment and I need a Webserver to simulate Internet traffic on my network in the lab.
I installed WAMP on a Windows 7 laptop. Then I copied all of the current Drupal files into the /www directory.
Every time I would try to run the Drupal installation, it would crash. I tried it with both Drupal 7 and Drupal 8. In both cases, the installation always crashes before I complete it.
I manage a website called headsight.com. I did not build the site and am learning Drupal as I go (I typically have worked in Joomla in the past). They have a page on their site called a dealer locator. You can see it here: http://headsight.com/find-a-dealer
I'm trying to wrap my head around this new trend toward decoupled content. Maybe somebody with experience on it's capabilities can help with a scenario I'm thinking of.
The general idea of decoupling is that Drupal could be used as a 'content repository' that is pulled into several different architectures. For example the header and footer and such are a java app, or a mobile app, or whatever.
