Best way to display and maintain long list?

I'm fairly new to Drupal and want to know the best way to display and maintain a listing of approximately 1000+ distributors.  I have multiple fields (name, address, phone, website, etc. along with a PDF of information on that distributor to download).  Ideally, I need to be able to search, sort and update the listing.  I've looked into using Feeds and DataTables and want to know if that would be a good way to do it or if there is some better way of doing it - such as creating a database and reading from that or even something else?  Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.

HTML content shown as text in Blocks

Hi,

I've gone through a number of other posts and I'm still unclear as to what I'm doing wrong.
I'm trying to insert a very simple line of HTML code in a Block. I can confirm the below:

  1. Full HTML filter is selected.
  2. Full HTML filter is the one on top of all other filters under Text Formats
  3. I've tried both options, Limit Allowed HTML Tags check and not checked. In my view "Full HTML" should be 90% full tbh
  4. I'm only using allowed HTML tags
  5. My cache is clear

Any help would be highly appreciated!

High browser CPU use possible coinminer

I have a site that shows high CPU use on any browser. I can't find any signs of the site being compromised yet I suspect it must have been as I think this is probably a coinminer. CPU use drops when I disable JavaScript, Is there anyway to examine the script when it is running to determine its source?

How to back up and migrate in shared hosting server

Hello,

I usually use the following steps to back up and migrate in shared hosting server.

1) On the source server, upload the backup and migrate module

2) On the source server, take a backup of the database using the B&M module

3) Copy all the site files - Drupal core, modules, themes, and your files folder, and migrate them to the target server in the exact same folder structure as the source server. (make sure source sites/default folder is write only access)
