Sorry fairly new to Drupal, so going through an evaluation stage at the moment.
We have a client whose site is primarily made up of a series of pages with document links. We want to create those links dynamically for each page. We are thinking about setting a category for each page and loading them according to the category.
Is this a built-in feature of Drupal, or is there a module that allows us to do this, or do we need to create one? Prefer to use something already out there.
OK, I am generally aptly familiar with Drupal. It's great at what it does, very versatile and so on.
Drupal could be used for alot of my projects - not necessarily on the same server - leading to the question of:
"How could one codebase work with different offsite servers such as Database, Media and so on?"
It would certainly ease task of upgrading. I can already feel this about to become a time consuming hindrance.
I see there's a nice break thru of online store, and it's an opensource "under Open Software License (OSL)",.. Much much more better than any online store I've try,.. It's totally web 2.0 store,.. nice and fast script,.. simple management and support multi currency and language,.. all come in one simple package,..
I am building my church's website. I want to include a blog with it but want the blog to blend with the main site seamlessly. I'm looking for someone who would build a template/theme based off my main site to work with Drupal. I've tried Wordpress but no one there was very helpful at all. Willing to pay a small fee to get this done quickly.
