Is it going to be possible to upgrade from 7.x Alpha to 7.x Final path ?
I want to start with 7.x Alpha and continue with upgrading to every new release.
Is it possible ?
Not sure exactly where to post this question, so I'll try here.
Trying to figure out how to extract specific keywords (in this use case about 150 city/town names) from an article/story/any content type really (title, summary, body or other cck fields) e and extract keywords as taxonomy items or using cck, either way would probably work.
Does a module for doing something like this exist? Please advise. Thanks.
We are looking to work with a developer (or a small team of developers) with strong familiarity / experience in CMS implementations (Drupal or other) to develop a premier gaming property.
I am new to Drupal and am very interested and dedicated to getting to know as much about Drupal as I possibly can, I also have a mind for contributing to the Drupal community in any way I can.
With this in mind I have an idea about setting up a server that members of the Drupal community can use to test and or troubleshoot for example the latest release of Drupal 6.x and 7.x or any modules features themes etc.
Obviously a structure would be needed to be put in place for this to work but is it something that would be useful?
I'm wondering what might be better, installing the Drupal 7 alpha 6 or the nightly Drupal 7 build. Has anyone had any problems with the stability of the nightly dev builds? I'm thinking that the nightly dev builds have updated fixes to some of the alpha 6 problems which may be closer to the end goal than what alpha 6 is currently at. Suggestions?
Once a beta of Drupal 7 is released, I'm considering switching to the platform. However, I have two serious feature requests, solutions to which would make the process incredibly less troublesome.
1) Photo captioning in the core. Currently, to have photo captioning, you either need to be a programmer and develop them yourself, use a module that is hit-or-miss, or adopt a profile in order to obtain the one feature.
