I currently have an SMF forum and now I have setup Drupal. I need all the content to integrate with drupal forum and carry on through the drupal forum.
I have a Debian test server www.test_host.com on which I created the Drupal website and use for developing the website. At a point I have decided that the site is good to go live so I renamed the host name to www.prod_host.com, changed the Apache ServerName and modified the DNS settings.
I create a Vbox (3.2.8) VM, install OpenSuse 11.3, install the Web & LAMP Server (default PHP3.2.x), configured everything along with Drupal 7 and everything worked fine as I expect it!
But, when I installed PHP5.2.6 I get this disconnection error:
PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (13) in lock_may_be_available() (line 163 of /srv/www/vhosts/drupal-7.x-dev/includes/lock.inc).
A start-up organization is looking to outsource the development and maintenance of its website / portal for its prospects and clients.
Our website is online and functioning but we are looking to upgrade it and release new pages and new features.
Your team must have the following:
- Strong experience building websites using DRUPAL;
- Strong programming skills and ability to customize / create new DRUPAL modules;
- Strong marketing skills -- you must understand our vision and create designs based on it.
I've created a craigslist nationwide job search site for Drupal 7 intended for developers who would like to become familiar with Drupal 7 using a real world example. The example lists 172 drupal jobs found using a single query that included all the craigslist locations throughout the United States. The module code is available for free to anyone who is interested. Carl.
We're looking for people to write courses for a beginner audience. Authors must be experienced in Drupal and have the ability to explain ideas and concepts clearly and concisely. Ideally we're looking for people who are keen to get involved on a regular/semi-regular basis so that we can build a small team of course writers to build up a quality resource over time. You would be able to choose courses from our pool, or propose your own courses.
