Documentation for render[able] arrays

I'm new to Drupal and have been looking through the Drupal 7 block_example.module. Comments in the module recommend returning block contents in renderable arrays. I've looked everywhere I can, but can find no documentation. Is there any documentation for renderable arrays or is it still in the works. Thanks.

I'll play with Drupal 7 to try and get this to work, but I expect hang-ups

Ok,

I have banged around this item on my own in Drupal 6.x but did not quite get it to work. With 7.x just around the corner, I am ready to just change platforms and develop from scratch.

I was using OG and OG Forums. I wanted to use Advanced Forums, but they would not behave.

I was using Pathauto and Tokens to dynamically re-write paths. I could not quite get it to work right.

The idea is simple:

I want a core setup in my site that exposes and hides content based upon membership or nonmembership in any of many groups. The most central part is a forum. The idea is two-fold. First it allows people to select what they want to participate in and what they don't care to have anything to do with. Second it allows easy self-censorship on the end-users part.

Clean Theme with box_cleanslate Colours

Currently using box_cleanslate. May change to the Clean theme when Drupal 7 arrives.

Is it difficult to impose the colour scheme used in cleanslate on Clean...? Could someone give me some pointers...?

Thanks in advance.

Taxonomy Setup Recommendation

Situation:

- Drupal 6.x.
- Single taxonomy with several terms to categorize content.
- Taxonomy links (e.g. http://example.com/taxonomy/term/12) are used to create menu items, essentially some "section pages".
- Inline images are tagged with the same taxonomy but set as "unpublished" to avoid cluttering the section pages.
- Relevant modules used: Image, Image Assist
