Drupal 7.x

Hi,

I'm absolutely LOVING Drupal after moving over from Wordpress!

My question is, does anyone know of a relatively pain-free way to bring over JUST the articles and comments from one D7 installation to another? I've seen some guides, but they all seem to focus on D6 and I haven't been able to find one specifically for D7.

Any help for this Drupal newbie is greatly appreciated!

I'm creating an website for an artist who needs two major content types:

Uploading d7 to a junk domain that I keep around for play. Anyway, I edited settings.php to point at my existing database (which I deleted tables from *after* I uploaded d7 folders to an empty public_html folder) Anyone know why my site looks like this: differentwindows.org
The only thing I edited in settings.php is these few lines

I am currently on Drupal 6.19, but working on eventually moving to D7 and adding some features. What is the best way to do the following?

Is it possible to update from 7 alpha to 7 beta ?

I have searched for this and seem to get the idea it is not possible to do this. I guess it can be done maually
