I'mm working on some interesting profiles thing and was wondering if blocks no what node-page they're on? I think I can use context module to make a block display only on a particular node type but can I also have that block display different content dependant on what particular node it is? Or do I need something like panels?
I'm a newbie figuring out the ways of 6.x. The site I'm developing w Drupal 6 is about six months away from completion. I was wondering if it's worth my while upgrading my dev platform to 7 -- or might I buy a whole lot more trouble than it's worth -- i.e. getting to know Drupal itself _and_ coping with the inevitable vagaries and bugs of a new rev. What are the pros and cons of such a move?

I would like to have a feature, where I can add certain Words with a special link and that drupal changed these word into that link when adding new content.
The question is this:
What is the best way to provide a normal image to a registered user and a blurred image (or masked) to a unregistered user?
The only way I can think of doing it is by applying a Image Watermark using image cache actions, then having duplicate nodes for different user types. I was wondering if there might be a better way of doing it? Maybe a JS mask that effects images only?
Any thoughts?
