Dynamic content based on country

We have a multilingual site that needs to show different content based on the country of the visitor. That means we would like to maintain the same amount of nodes on the site and we are not looking for a complete Internationalization module.

Instead, we are looking for something more lightweight since the only things that will change are some links and prices.

D7 css files have ?abcxyz at the end?

Using FF webdeveloper plugin to look thru the marinelli theme on D7.
Notice that the CSS files now have the random alphabets suffix. (marinelli/css/primary-links.css?lgzzbe)

Wondering why this is so and what it means?

Also, when I edit certain CSS files in marinelli it works, such as editing the page border color in the layout.css file.

But when I try with others like the primary-links.css file, the changes don't seem to take effect even after refreshing cache.

TIA!

"Vote Tags" not showing up in Views

Hello,

I have installed the VotingAPI and Rate modules for Drupal 7. It automatically adds a link to my navigation menu: "Top content". After having rated some posts to test it out, the voting results were all still 0. Confused, I edited the View, only to find that it doesn't allow me the option of selecting the appropriate Vote Tag. Instead, I have "No Filter" and "Normal Vote". However, I have existing rating widgets with tags of a different name, eg. "Content".

Can't access website

Sometimes I can't access some of my websites from home, I checked http://port80.icannotconnect.com and confirmed that outbound port 80 is allowed by my ISP, I'm pretty sure that the problem is not network related, but I'm not sure what it is, could this have anything to do with installing Drupal?

D7: non-existent pages not 404ing?

I must be missing something obvious / doing something stupid: In a Drupal 7 site, clearly non-existent pages (example.com/sadfhasdfhjaksfd) are returning a "200 OK" code in the server logs. They're marked as "page not found' in admin/reports/dblog, however. I've worked in D6 for quite awhile but am somewhat new to D7; does anyone see what I'm missing??

Installing Drupal 7 to a UNIX box with a live site already up?

Hello,

I've searched the forums and read through many pieces of documentation; but I am still a little confused about installing Drupal 7 to a server already hosting a live site.

We think Drupal 7 will be a good fit for something new. I have read documentation and how-tos for several days. I just need to know of any tips or best practices for installing Drupal on a server with a live site already up.

Is this unadvised? Will it hinder the live site in any way?

Thank you!
