Hi, I want to make sure that when I move my site from my local machine to the internet, the links will still work and files will still be found etc.

I.e.
http://localhost/mysite/ - local development location
http://www.mysite.com/ - production location

I'm looking to launch a new Drupal 7 site next month. I'm moving away from MediaTemple due to speed issues. What type of hosting configuration would you recommend if you had a $50 per month budget? VPS, Cloud or Shared???

The line without an end quote in .htaccess is causing syntax coloring in vi/vim to be useless after that line. I suggest we put a comment with a quote after that as a workaround:

  # There is no end quote below, for compatibility with Apache 1.3.
  ErrorDocument 404 "The requested file favicon.ico was not found.
  # " (End quote to satisfy syntax coloring.)

I'm not sure where to post this to get the maintainer's attention.

For our pages that are translated the "title" field that is displayed in the "find content" list of content is very confusing for our content managers who only read english. Since the "title" field is the actual page title we can't change it to be content-manager-friendly (english). We want to have a CMS title for nodes purely for management reasons (ex "about us - french" rather than the actual french translation for "about us" being displayed) and have created the field with Field UI, but cannot figure out how to have this new field display in the "find content" table.

how can i get this on drupal ?

On the opening of a node I would like to automatically open a div with jquery slide. When changing the node div closes automatically. I'm new to jquery and I have difficulties to write the function.
Can you give me an example of a function?
