I am a complete newbie to Drupal 7, and am in need of some urgent help!!
I have recently installed Drupal 7.o onto my mac, and have just been playing around with it to begin with (changing menus, contents etc.). I decided that I needed to take a step back and have found some tutorial videos. Trouble is, the tutorial videos, whilst very helpful, start from a brand new default drupal 7.0 web site (i.e. as if it has just been installed and nothing has been changed.) I need to get back to this stage!!!
I'm about to make a page but I think missing a module that can be something very specific. I'm about to create a site where each person can edit a particular node as they access. How do I do that.
Each user has only one node they can edit in. They can nothing but that.
When I installed D7 and used the Update Manager the first time I was asked for credentials which I didn't have at the time. I now do have them but I can't find any way to get back to that dialogue or to set / reset the credentials.
Please could someone advise how to (re)set these? I have looked at other similar issues but none got a response. Surely this can't be a once-for-all-time setting?
And doesn't let him upload any picture.
I want the user to choose an image that will already be in the theme folder, and that will indicate what kind of article it is.
I've spent about a week looking around on here & still yet to find a definitive solution:
I'm using a zen sub-theme to build a site which contains both static & dynamic pages & have used Basic Page nodes for the statics. Problem is I can't find a way to stop the node-title from appearing at the top of the content area for each of these pages. I understand this field is required with the Content Admin view but don't understand why it cannot be specified not to appear within the outputted file?
