Drupal 7.x

On the White House site, claimed to be powered by Drupal, I clearly can see a number of dynamic pages, with different addresses and different layouts. At the same time, in administrative panel of Drupal 7 I can't see such operation as “Add page”, “List of pages” etc. I can see “Basic pages”, which are clearly intended for static content only. For a beginner like me Drupal looks like single-page oriented tool. Can I actually handle pages, their layouts, via administrative panel, or such operations require a web programmer with knowledge of Drupal and/or Apache?

Looking for a gallery module like the one used at http://www.lebook.nc/ .... users are greeted with a gallery of new images on the home page and when the picture is clicked it enlargers the picture and has the author of the picture on the page and is clicked. (i'm new to drupal from wp) The mouseover module would be nice also. The gallery part is the most important not the mouse over

In Drupal 6,x there was a section in the administration to add the allowable file types for upload. I can't find this in Drupal 7. Searches on this forum have come up with no usable results. Anyone know where you can add a file type

I'm a Drupal newbee
I've started to manage m'y new site
I've done some manipulation and now I have one problem :
When I create a new article node everything look nice, The node and summary appear in the front page but when I click on the article
It now just show the title and post date but not the body text.
More when i try to edit the article the body edit field don't appear

Trying to migrate from localhost to 1&1. Have use a couple other services before never had any real problems. However when i try to migrate to 1&1 i am getting this error. Not even sure what it is about. Any ideas?
