Support forums

Many support questions in the forums are specific to using certain modules. Would it make sense if each module had it's own forum. This could neatly appear at the bottom of its project page. I know you can create bug reports and feature requests, but a lot of the time questions are very general in nature. Searching through the main forum for relevent information is such a grind.

Forum Sub-Sections for Projects

The Project module has been really useful for creating a standardised way for users and developers to report bugs, ask for features, and make a note of tasks.

What I think is missing is a user friendly way to have a more freeform discussion about each project, for instance to talk about the best way to implement features, optimise code, what the status of a project is, or advise n00bies on installation, use, and modification (of particular themes or modules).

Duplicate 4.3.0-rc tar files is confusing

On the home page there is a link to the release candidate: drupal-4.3.0-rc.tgz

On the downloads page the link to release candidate is: drupal-4.3.0-rc.tar.gz

This caught me out recently http://drupal.org/node/view/2388, when I had both rc.
