Drupal.org gets a make-over

For Drupal 4.5 one of our action points was improving the Drupal.org site itself. As well as making information easier to find for users, we wanted to make the site friendlier for people who are new to Drupal. As part of this, a new look was designed for Drupal.org. The style, called Bluebeach, was inspired by the Bluemarine Xtemplate and was designed by me, Steven Wittens.

In order to keep Bluebeach as a unique style for Drupal.org, the theme will not be made available for download.

How do I add a new project release for my box_grey theme?

I branched my box_grey phptemplate theme for 4.5 a few days ago, it appears when I check out the 4.5 tag from cvs so everything looks fine.

I've already added a project and the cvs version is tgz'd up nicely. But how do I add a release for 4.5? I was under the impression this happened automatically, is it the case that the drupal.org scripts simply haven't been tweaked to deal with this yet? Or is there something I have to do?

spam module "Download latest release" shows wrong version

I released 4.4 and 4.5 versions of the spam module today, and though both are available for download, the "older" 4.4 version is showing up as the "latest release". Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I'm sure that anybody running a Drupal website occasionally gets tempted to mention Drupal and show up in the Drupal talk block. Mostly this has worked ok. Isn't surprising, though, that people are getting bright ideas and mentioning Drupal in every post they put on their for-profit money making schemes. The interesting quetsion: how long can someone abuse Drupal Talk before they get blacklisted?

Missing nodes on drupal.org

There are a lot of missing pages when I navigate around. I don't know if this is since the upgrade to cvs or not.

Lots of bad links on the contribute page under "Help with development." There are also a lot of bad internal links in forum posts. Did many nodes get deleted for some reason?

Error in submitting an issue

There's an error on the preview page (http://drupal.org/node/add/project_issue) saying:

user error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'AND u.status < 3 LIMIT 0, 1' at line 1
