Hi all,
sorry for the stupid question, but I'm getting some problems in creating my first module and publishing on Drupal.org.
I created inline.module, and populated drupal-contrib repository with a directory named inline.
I put inside it all the files of my module, and branched it to DRUPAL-4-5.
Then, I submitted the project, but the default release is pointing to an empty inline-cvs.tar.gz file.
Furthermore, if I try to create a new release, it also points to the same file.
Is there any information about using the new search module? It seems to default to an OR search. Can it do an AND or phrase search? This information should be available somewhere. I couldn't find it by searching. ;)
I would love to be able to pull an RSS feed from some specific nodes I'm watching. For example, the new Sections module (currently CVS) sounds like something I'm very interested in running. But it's not for 4.5 yet. I'd love to stay updated on that.
If there is something I missed, my apologies. I have no syndication link on the node screen, and FF does not show the subscription icon on the status bar.
I got now a few weeks dealing with drupals, and I discover that a lot of thing are possible, but sometimes it could be a little tricky.
For example, I spent quite few days to know how can I allow certain roles to create stories only in the categories they got the right ?
I've not finish to set it up, but I think that when I had a clear view of the administration of such a workflow, I would like to post a tip to help people dealing with this for the first time.
What do you think about creating such forum section ?
Has anyone met a PHP search engine that they liked? I'm sure not pleased with the one on this site. Is it based on PHPDig, or is it an original creation from Drupal developers? I don't generally find the results very relevant and I usually end up using Google. For example just now I tried a search for "search engine" and the results were not so hot. Quotation marks don't seem to work for exact phrases -- and parts of words get matched. For example one of my top results for "search engine" had the word "research" highlighted.
