Deprecated - Drupal.org infrastructure

Speak up if you have other things you want done, or object to the current todo list.

1. Modify project downloads to use url format files/project/<project>-<version>.tar.gz. Example: files/project/drupal-4.4.0.tar.gz

2. Rename branches/tags in contributions to use the same format as the main Drupal repository. Example: change DRUPAL-4-3-0 to DRUPAL-4-3.

3. Add taxonomy with list of all projects for forums.

4. Move contrib/FAQ+README to drupal.org handbook pages. Put links to drupal.org documentation in contrib files.

I have added my birthdate to my user profile on drupal.org, but the information seems is displayed incorrectly on the resulting profile page generated by Drupal at http://drupal.org/user/view/6308.

Quick fix for developer... Check to see if the background fill of image is the same as the sidebar.

I would really like if if the project pages had links to sites that used the module/theme in question.

This would help authors know that the module or theme was being used, it would help users see what a module can do, it would help the core Drupal team decide which modules were popular enough to consider promoting to the core.

Hi, I read about Drupal a few days ago (barrapunto.com). It's simple. It's very complete. It's litle. I like it!.

A comment: I lost half a hour searching for translations in the site. Maybe a direct link will be very useful, I think.
