It's probably by fault. In fact, it's definitely my fault...
I think I managed to somehow ruin my CVS repository for the project "Drigg". Something went wrong, and now it won't allow me to commit anymore.
Can somebody from Infrastructure please upload this:
I'm just getting my feet wet with CVS checkouts...
So lets say I do a CVS checkout of HEAD to my users/sgluskin/drupal directory on my Mac. Then I drag the whole drupal directory to a different location like... users/sgluskin/webstuff/drupal
Will moving the directory affect the ability of me to run the CVS update command?
Hello. I'm sure this question has been asked MANY times... How do I use Drupal's CVS? I think I've actually gotten the basics down, but I'm not quite sure I'm using CVS correctly. I am using WinCVS and am going to keep using it since I've invested quite a bit of time learning it. Please don't reply telling me to use a different CVS client (It's recommended on the CVS documentation pages: http://drupal.org/handbook/cvs). I'm still having trouble grasping a few concepts related to CVS usage even though I've read the Drupal documentation. Please bear with me as I explain my lack of understanding.
I am able to connect to my module through CVS and create a local directory. I have even successfully committed changes back to CVS. Here is where my confusion is at the moment. BRANCHES and TAGS.
It would be nice before downloading a new modules there would be a way for us to know what has been changed. many developers are too busy to write up the changes.
I thought how about a few standard check boxes or maybe pull-downs.
one would be a translation check box. developer would check the box if they made changes to the writen language.
anyone else have any ideas about what kinds of boxes?
