Switch from MyISAM to innoDB: slow query issue after "flush all cache"

I switched my DB from MyISAM to innoDB. As a consequence, I experienced the following problem with queries:
When I launch "flush all cache" function, the process is very slow.
I analyzed the processed queries where I noticed that there are many INSERT into "menu_ruter" table, waisting a lot of time for processing (about 1000 ms per query).
Do you have any suggestion?

Thank you

siteoffline, randomly

my site shows the offline page. I have contacted the hosting service, they say everything is fine on their end. Its all connected properly, database is connected etc. They said there could be possible files missing?

I have used the community forums and saw that most others with the same problem 1. turned off their site manually
2. fixed the problem by reseting server, or restoring backup

Menù traslation

Hello everyone, I have a little problem that is making me puzzled for a while!
I installed the various modules you need for translations. I was able to translate content type page ... BUT I can not translate the menu. Among the options of blocks and menu items gives me the ability to assign to the items and blocks a language through MULTILINGUAL SETTINGS but just change the language from the language selection menu block does not change! The URL CHANGE: http://www.miosito.itindex.php?q=content/ to http://www.miosito.itindex.php?q=it/content/
but the menus do not change!
Can anyone help me?
thanks

Checkbox in webform

I feel rather foolish in not being able to create a simple check box using the webform module. When selecting the form element type, the most obvious choice is 'select options' but I can't find how to create and configure a check box!!

Many errors updating Drupal 6.28 to 7.23

I am pulling my hair out! Help!

I have been tasked with upgrading our website from Drupal 5.3 to Drupal 7.23 (and the OS, PHP and PostgreSQL database) and I keep running into error after error! Each time I manage to get through 1 error, another one shows up! Part of me wonders if anybody else is having this much trouble upgrading considering how widely used Drupal is!?!

I am fairly new to Drupal and to FreeBSD so this has been a very steep learning curve and I am running out of ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it! Unfortunately patience is running thin with the powers-to-be and not to mention I am starting to get tired of this project since I have not been able to move forward for a while already!

I've managed to get up to Drupal 6.28, not including the custom theme or modules (I get to modify those next) and have a number of issues showing up as I try to upgrade to Drupal 7.23. I am running Drupal in a VM for now, but will be runnign this on an installed version.

  • FreeBSD 9.1
  • apache 2.2.23
  • php 5.2.17 and extensions
  • postgresql 9.0

I haven't updated PHP beyond 5.2 yet because I started with Drupal 5.3 and was hoping to move the entire site up to Drupal 7.23 before updating the OS and components. Unless this is the error causing all of my troubles.?!

Quick Cron Question

I finally seem to have gotten a working crontab going. QUESTION: While the status report shows it ran, I am wondering if it is normal that the fact that cron was run is not being reflected on the "admin/reports/status report" page, showing the proper date and time it was "last run" through the crontab.

Specific code (for others it might help):

"/usr/bin/php cron.php >> /var/log/mycron.log 2>&1"
