Drupal 6.x

I just installed Drupal. I have a virtual host setup in Apache and the site is http://drupal.iar-whatsup2.oar.org:8080. Install went great but then it redirected me to index.php and when I clicked the administration link it took me to index of/ and listed all of my files in the root directory. I am at a loss!

Hello All,

I am a newbie - I have created 5 menus on primary links - about us, services, careers, contact us and employee login.

The menus collapse to about us, services, careers, employee login when a user is not logged in and then when a user logs in change to about us, services, careers, contact us.

I would like the following to happen: before login the following should display
about us, services, careers, contact, employee login

and after login
about us, services, careers, contact, logout

I'm trying since yesterday but everytime I fill in the database name and user then pass and proceed I get this error " Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _user_password_dynamic_validation() in /home/user/public_html/site/install.php on line 710 "

Anyone know what the problem could be ? this is the first time I ever had a problem during install with drupal.
