Drupal 6.x

Hello,

Are there any tutorial on Drupal 5 -> Drupal 6 module conversion?
Most modules are still supporting only Drupal 5.x. And it would block deployment of Drupal 6.
I tried to convert a Drupal 5.x module to Drupal 6. I failed and don't understand why.
I read the Drupal 5 and 6 documentations. And still don't quite understand yet.
Of course, I'm not a good code writer.
But if there is a handy guide for that, I believe I could convert it successfully.

Can anyone direct me to information for tracking links clicked within the News Aggregator? For example, I'd like to create a block of popular or most active headlines that have been selected by all visitors.

Just installed a new site based on Drupal 6, and I have a dilemma ;-(

I'm aggregating a couple of RSS feeds for local news section of the site, and I'm having some issues regarding the automatic update of these feeds.

When I run the cron.php either manually or as a cron job, the feeds are not updated !!??

I've followed all the instructions, and tried to find a solution by searching here, but without any success . ;-(

I just ran this on Drupal 5.7 and it works with mysql, but not mysqli. Even though the database was created with utf8_unicode_ci.

But when I go and try to install 6.0, I get....

Failed to connect to your MySQL database server. MySQL reports the following message: Unknown MySQL server host 'localhost:/tmp/mysql5.sock' (3).

* Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
* Are you sure that you have typed the correct database hostname?
* Are you sure that the database server is running?

Hi everyone

I'm looking for an easy way to embed images in stories at the positions I want without resorting to IMG tags. I want the images under CMS control. At the moment, I'm using imagecache and using IMG to reference them. Not too special you'll agree.
