Drupal 6.x

Hi

I'm new to Drupal. I kinda like it. But I want to make some edits tot the core(if necessary).
First of all, if you go to the admin panel, you see the lists with links. Nothing wrong with that. What annoys me actually are the descriptions below the links. I was thinking about converting them into some of those nice javascript tooltips.
My question, do I need to change everything in the core? Or would it be enough to only edit the CSS and javascript?

I'm trying to recreate http://www.ccim.com/staff/ inside Drupal.

I have the images uploaded, but I can't get the "two column" sort of alignment. I'm trying to use the img module.

Installed Drupal 6 and tried to put some PHP code on a node

echo "Hi, I'm a PHP script!";

I made sure full html was enabled and guess what I saw:

echo "Hi, I'm a PHP script!";

I e-mailed my host and requested an answer...doh!

They say there should be a 3rd option enable PHP, where do I find this option in the admin system?

I have Drupal 6.1 installed and want someone to install and integrate PHPBB3 to work within Drupal. Can someone give me a quote on what they would charge to do this?

How do I configure my site so that the username is displayed next to the comments in Recent Comments and diaries in Recent Diaries?

Hey folks - I just released a new drupal site for di Stefano Landscaping. It is not a terribly complex site, but I needed the ability for the owner to be able to add content, and post news, specials, etc.

There are still a few updates I will make in the future, particularly integrating Views and CCK once they have official releases for 6.x. I took of advantage of the built in jQuery support and integrated Gian Carlo Mingati's slideViewer 1.1
