Currently I am looking for developing a Social Networking site with some customized features.
The site will be having features almost similar to LinkedIn and some more custom features.

I have been looking into various options on the technology which will best suit for the requirement.
I came across Drupal, RoR and many other frameworks.

I would like to get some inputs and thoughts on the following, before taking the decision on the framework.

I am looking for input for a system I'm doing with frequently changing user profiles.

For each user, I would like to email their profile to them each week with a reminder note to update their profile.

There are a bunch of mail modules out there and I'm hoping someone with some experience with them can help me with their expertise!

US company is in need of a Drupal / PHP / MySQL Expert. Preferably from India, Romania, Philippines or any country where the salary is competitive. Must be available 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Offer is $600 a month with increases based on performance. Must be good in:

-customizing drupal modules
-importing DB content from other sources
-making modules from scratch
-theme layouts (not design, but a structure for designers)
-general php mysql coding for other tasks
