Drupal 6.x

I'd originally installed the module on our dev site which is a clone of the live site: same modules, theme, content … the module was easy to set up and add content, however the ads did not show up at all. I figured that it was a conflict between modules and installed on my local machine since other developers are also working on dev.

Once installed on my desktop, the only time I can see the ads is when I use the localhost domain. They do not display when I access the site using the IP address.

Search word (Chinese word) but default site language is English
When i search Chinese word, search result is highlighted but some result is not highlighted in same result.

Due to some unrecognized changes in db, I want to export content/data from specific date to selected date and also import into old db, So I can not need to add manually.
My site also support to multilingual functionality.
Is it possible to do that in Drupal?

OK, I'm installing Drupal 6.32 over XAMPP on a Linux virtual machine (Ubuntu 12.04). The install is fine, and I'm just getting to the configuration.

However:

I've acquired management of an existing live website, and I want to bring a copy onto my local install so I can redevelop it - so ideally I need to find a way of getting my local install to recognise/log into the existing website's database (for which I have login/password).

Where do I look to install the site? (I presume I do that first - or do I?)
Can I simply use the existing database's credentials?

I just upgraded my site from Drupal 6.30 to 6.32. For some reason, /admin/reports/status is saying the following:

Drupal 6.32
Access to update.php Protected
Configuration file Protected
Cron maintenance tasks Last run 10 min 33 sec ago
Database updates Up to date
Drupal core update status Not secure! (version 6.32 available)

I tried clearing caches, and even un-installing and re-enabling the update status module, but no change. Any suggestions on what to do now?

I have discovered that over the years people with editor role can't login and I as an admin need to paste in their passwords again for it to work. I'm not sure for how long it will work but there have been some problems now and then. They do not login so often but still it's anoying.

I have given 3 councils with editor role each one their own login and password and it's the same problem after some time for all 3. Someone have a tip for me, please?
