Installing Drupal

I want to move a drupal site to a new server. The old installation however is a part of a multisite setup. It is not the base path is a parked domain that sits on the base drupal install. How do I transfer just that site to a new single site?

I put in a password in the authentication field and ever since I cannot remove it.
I was told form my hosting service to keep the authentication fields empty. I'd like to do that but...

I am looking on advices on how to migrate my website from development on my local host using WAMP, to my VPS. I considered several options like installing everything from scratch on the VPS, until copying all the files and database and uploading it on the VPS.

What is the best option?

I have problem during install Drupal 7:

I am new to Drupal but not in programming generally, I have a Drupal install under wamp.
I would like to know how I can develop other sites on this installation.
At the moment the site beginning with www/index.php which maps to localhost and the only one I can develop on. I would like to keep this site for practice while I develop a 'real' site under the same installation. Is this possible?
