I am trying to install Drupal 7.2 and I am stuck on the "Select an installation profile" page. I click the "save and continue" button but the page gets reloaded and I cannot progress with the installation.
I have followed the steps in the installation guide on creating the database and the settings.php file, but I am stuck!
I am running:
Ubunto 10.10.
PHP Version 5.3.3
PHP extension: mysqli
Apache/2.2.16 (Ubuntu)
MySQL client version: 5.1.49
I setup a test server using ubuntu and I have set a sybolic link to /var/www in my user folder
When I try to ftp files to the modules folder I get an error saying that the permission is denied.
The permission on the folder is currently 755. Any ideas?
Also, should I have made the symbolic link int the public folder?
I have some problems on install a multisite on Wamp Server.
I have installed WAMP on "C:\wamp\" Drupal 7 and the "C:\wamp\www\drupal7\".
At drupal 7 I wanted to have two sites: default and website1.com.
I already have the folders: "C:\wamp\www\drupal7\sites\default" and "C:\wamp\www\drupal7\sites\website1.com" (with the file "settings.php" in each folder), but I can only access the default.
how do I access the website1.com?
I apologize, but I have diligently read every post and tried everything.
My Drupal install is stating:
File system Not writable
The directory /hermes/web09c/b1053/as.darkdan/tempdir does not exist. You may need to set the correct directory at the file system settings page or change the current directory's permissions so that it is writable.
I am trying to set Drupal 6.20 up on Window. especially Wiki.
During setting it up, I ran into the problem below.
I downloaded pearwiki_filter in here.
"PEAR Text/Wiki installation not found. Looked in directory C:\wamp\QATscan\www/modules/pearwiki_filter/.
There should be a Text directory with a file Wiki.php in it."
When we move a Drupal website from one server to another, all images disappear. The image URLs appear to be correct and permissions on files and directories appear to be correct.
