I just downloaded a copy of a production website made in Drupal and threw it into my WAMP installation. Now, whenever I try to access it through the browser, I get the following message (on an "Opening" pop-up window generated by Windows XP):
I can not login in Internet Explorer to Drupal 7.7 site.
When I try to log in Drupal just shows the following message again and again
You don't have permissions ....
It works in Firefox.
It is worth to say that I am not able to install drupal 7.7 using IE but it work using Firefox.
Most people connecting to our sites are using IE therefore I asume that is big bug in Drupal. How to fix it on client and on server site.
The Drupal I am running on Ubuntu 11.04 (on Hyper-V server).
We know that Drupal have great module User Relationships, which is providing Friendship feature.
I have searched long time and didn't found any module which provides Circles(google+), Groups(Facebook) functionality in Drupal (preferably User Relationships based).
Hi all,
My first Drupal site is now ready - or nearly is - and I'm trying to make it online.
I've been working with Wamp on a 64bit W7 with very limited problems. I've read quite a few tutorials on how to send my site from the local host to the server and have tried to apply them the best I could.
Yet it doesn't work.
I'm using Drupal 7.7 with 0point theme, IMCE + KCE, lightbox2, Administration menu, Chat, Mediafront, Advanced forum, Agenda, and of course Views.
Let me list here the problems I've seen so far:
All images inserted through the editor are missing. I've double cheked the structure on the ftp to make sure they were copied. I've tried, as advised on http://www.eric-bellot.fr/node/33 to edit the links inside the DB before transfering it to no avail. I have tried to create a new page and link to an image on the server, using all possible relative addresses - starting from root/etc. - to no avail either. It looks like the server won't let pictures to be displayed which sounds most unlikely, doesn't it?
KCE won't start. I've had a rough time making it start on Wamp but got it nicely working in the end but now it does not appear on the server. Config all looks fine but the icons will never appear.
Just moved to a cloud server with CentOS 5 with Parallels Plesk Panel 10 (64-bit). I have to upgrade to Plesk 10.3.1, PHP 5.3.3 and mySql 5.5.4 (I have no experience as sys admin or web admin, but it was simple process that finished clean). I then created a Subscription and then a domain. The permissions of the Subscription are in following screen capture. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ST0QCMzxCdI/TliXslzAd2I/AAAAAAAAA2Q/m...
I have problems accessing drupals admin area inside verison 7.7. I installed locally on my site using wamp server 2.1, (editing the settings.php file as necessary) and cannot subsequently access the admin area - I can access admin locally without a problem. I get this error message:
"The website encountered an error while retrieving ...com/admin. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request."
