We have linux machine to host our website.Nothing was present by default so I installed following:
1) Apache 2.x
2) PHP 5.3
3) MySQL 5.0.15
The problem is when I try to access the website I can only see the contents of the website and not the theme
when I changed it's theme I realized that the layouts are changing but it's not showing any of the default themes.May be the css are not getting applied or something.
how can I solve the following scenario in D7.
Under taxonomy, I have two new entries created with the following terms:

I am new to Drupal as of this morning. Everything seemed to go well with the install on Debian, but at the end of the installation procedure I have a blue, white and black browser page that says:
"Page not found
The requested page could not be found."
A few hours of searching, several retries, and I obviously aint gonna get it. Flog me if it's obvious, right after you tell me the answer, please. It's got to be something stupid.
Let me explain the problem, I moved a drupal installation from one host to the other.
This is what i did.
1. Made an SQL dump from the complete database.
2. Back-upped the complete Drupal folder. (including .htacces)
3. Uploaded the SQL dump into the new host.
4. Uploaded the Drupal folders and files to the new host.
5. Edited the settings.php so it points to the new host.
Hello,
a little help here with Drupal.
Here is an error message I keep getting.
Message Number 1

Failed to connect to your MySQL database server.
MySQL reports the following message: Permission denied.
Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct database hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
For more help, see the Installation and upgrading handbook.
If you are unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your hosting provider.

A few months ago I installed Drupal 7 from Microsoft web app gallery and the name over there was as "Drupal 7.2 Developer Release" build by Commerce Guys
Now there is "Drupal Commerce 1.4" build by Commerce Guys because my hosting company upgraded WebsitePanel to ver 1.2.0
