Installing Drupal

I"m trying to build a basic e-commerce site on my local machine using wamp or xampp. on both servers i got the same error massage when trying to install uberdrupal.
'Fetal error: maximum execution time of 30 second exceeded in c:\\wamp\www\includes\database.mysqli.inc on line 108'

Before I start the install I create the database with a user and a password but I still get this error.

If any one have any fix for this or have seen it before please help!!

HI, I have installed Drupal 7.x. I am having an issue getting "Access Denied. You are not authorized to access this page". I also lost the ability to access all the administrator links. I am new to Drupal and it is frustrating. Thanks for any help.

Is there a guide on migrating from development server to production server. Maybe just a list of things to check or manual edits that may need doing?

I'm Thomas, and I started using Drupal commerce.
I allready installed it successfully on my local machine but when trying to install it on my web server, i always get problems.

Okay, here the facts: Im using Plesk 11 on my web server, (hosted by strato) and got my domain. I've set an ftp access and uploaded drupal commerce folder in "/httpdocs"

Furthermore I already created an database with user drupal and all privileges.

now the Problem: How to run Drupal commerce via phpmyadmin/plesk?

I'm creating a first Drupal site. I have a feed aggregator block that I'd like to be visible in the right sidebar. I set it up and it looks great except that it is only visible to authenticated site visitors.

I'd like it to be visible to all visitors. Somehow I've inadvertently set it up so visitors must be authenticated to see it.

What do I do to change this?

I've tried changing "Show Block for Specific Role" and that doesn't seem to work
