Hey guys... I'm going to apologize in advance.. this is all very new to me, and I'm sure there is a complete DUH! that I'm missing here. I'm a tool maker, not a web designer.. so I would sure appreciate any and all help!
I purchased my domain and ultimate secure hosting (linux) through GoDaddy, sticky-expressions.com .
I also purchased stickyexpressions.com later after it became available, going to point that to the earlier url.
installed latest wampserver on windows 7. In order to get testmysql.php to verify mysql I had to hardcode root and password in config. Just watched a tutorial on installing drupal on Wamp. It suggested to not include password on setup page. I am thinking because I have a password cited in config I should enter it on drupal setup page. Before I install, would someone be willing verify that I would indeed need to use the password I set in config? Appreciate any help.
Hi,
I've uploaded drupal in my subdomain root directory, when browsing http://fundraising-campaign.gopacifia.org/install.php it kind of times out and doesn't shows up. The message says: The page isn't redirecting properly
Hello,
I made several ill-advised mistakes working very late one night on several sites that are a mix of D7 and D6. No, I didn't make a backup, and yes I have a lot of lame excuses.
So, as I was going through the core upgrades for these sites, I inadvertently overwrote the codebase of a D6 site with the D7 core upgrade. Here's what I do for core updates (which always works beautifully for me btw):
Standing up a new Windows Server (2008 R2) for a Drupal install. Anyone know off the top of their heads which ports Drupal commonly uses? I haven't found a list, or even any ports on a windows box.
I'm trying to install the newest Drupal to use it as test server in my Ubuntu 12.10 computer. I found this guide, but I got a problem. Everything went fine until I tried to open page http://localhost/drupal7/install.php. I got the following error message:

The requested URL /drupal7/install.php was not found on this server.
